Conscious Discipline Basics in the EHS Classroom
This training introduces Conscious Discipline, a trauma-responsive, adult-first methodology that integrates self-regulation, emotional intelligence, and positive classroom culture to promote optimal learning environments for young children. Developed by Dr. Becky Bailey, Conscious Discipline empowers educators to transform everyday conflicts into teaching moments by modeling composure, empathy, and problem-solving.
Participants will explore the Brain State Model, Seven Powers for Conscious Adults, Seven Skills of Discipline, and the School Family framework. The session emphasizes the educator’s role in fostering emotional safety, resilience, and connection foundations for children’s lifelong learning and social-emotional growth.
